These terms govern your use of Myle (the “app”, the “service”), operated by the Myle team (“we”, “us”). By installing the app, creating an account, or using any feature, you agree to these terms.
Myle is not a cryptocurrency, wallet, or financial product. The service does not handle, custody, transfer, send, receive, buy, sell, swap, mint, trade, or display any token, coin, NFT, currency, or asset of monetary value, and we do not and will not introduce such functionality. The blockchain is used only as an append-only storage substrate for FHE-encrypted health values; any on-chain transaction the app submits is gas-sponsored by us and has no financial character. The user never holds funds, never pays gas, never signs a payment.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use Myle. The app is rated 17+ on the App Store. By creating an account you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
2. Your account
Sign-in is provided by Privy using a one-time code sent to your email. You are responsible for keeping access to that email secure. Losing access to it means losing access to your decryption keys, and therefore to your historical encrypted data.
You may pick one public handle. Handles are unique, lowercase, 3 to 20 characters. We reserve the right to reclaim handles that impersonate individuals or brands, or that are abusive.
3. Your data
Health values you log in Myle are encrypted on your phone before they leave the device. We do not see them in plaintext. See the Privacy Policy for full detail. You retain the right to decrypt and use your own data. You grant us a limited license to process the encrypted ciphertexts as needed to operate the service (relay attestations and submit transactions on your behalf).
4. Health information is not medical advice
Myle is not a medical device. The statistics and achievement proofs Myle produces are for personal interest only. Do not use Myle to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. If you have a health concern, consult a qualified medical professional.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit fake or fabricated workout values, whether by tampering with HealthKit, using third-party apps that write synthetic samples, jailbreaking your device, or any other means designed to defeat the app's data-integrity checks.
- Attempt to access, decrypt, or de-anonymize data belonging to other users.
- Spam friend requests or any feature in a way that degrades the experience for others.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our backend, or interfere with its operation. Responsible disclosure of security findings is welcome — email myle@fhenix.io.
- Use the service for illegal activity or in violation of applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
6. On-chain records are permanent
When you log a run, an encrypted record is written to a public blockchain. This record is permanent. Deleting your account (see Privacy Policy §6) removes your profile and friendships from our database; it does not remove on-chain records, because no one — including us — has the authority to do so.
Only the holder of the decryption key (you) can read those records. If you discard or lose access to your account, the on-chain records become permanently unreadable.
7. Third-party blockchain networks
Myle stores your encrypted records on a public blockchain network operated by independent third parties. We do not control that network or the Fhenix CoFHE infrastructure it relies on. As with any decentralized network, it may be upgraded, paused, or discontinued by its operators outside our control; if that happens, data anchored to it may become inaccessible. Achievement proofs are not financially binding and confer no monetary value.
8. No warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any third-party right.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we cease operating the service, or if the underlying blockchain network is taken offline. On termination, sections 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 13 survive.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by push notification. Continued use of the service after the “Effective” date constitutes acceptance.
